- Fiber Media Lab Art Space -

Hanshan FML Art Space is located in Hanshan Village, Shanlian Town, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. In Huzhou, Zhejiang, Hanshan is located at the junction of Nanxun, Tongxiang and Deqing counties, adjacent to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and is famous for its beautiful landscapes and profound cultural heritage. Starting in 2024, it will be transformed from a traditional scenic spot into a comprehensive tourism and leisure area that fully integrates natural beauty, traditional culture and artistic creativity - Hanshan Future Innovation Valley (Hanshan Scenic Area). Here, the legend of the Silkworm Goddess, which has been passed down for thousands of years, will be reinterpreted in the form of digital art.

"Emerging and maturing" is also the development vision of Hanshan Future Innovation Valley (Hanshan Scenic Area). Through creativity and innovation, technology and art, this ancient land will be elevated to a vibrant cultural and creative industry center, promoting new development of the regional economy and culture.

| Introduction of the area

Hanshan Future Innovation Valley (Hanshan Scenic Area) takes advantage of its geographical location, combines modern technology with traditional elements, provides tourists with a variety of leisure and learning venues, and is also committed to becoming a new driving force for regional economic development. Through careful planning and design, the scenic area is divided into two distinctive north and south areas with Hanshan Tower as the center.

The South District takes the digital IP of the Silkworm Goddess as its theme and constructs a series of cultural and rest facilities, including Qingmai Wenyuan, Aesthetics Museum, Linxi Tea Study, vegetarian restaurant and accommodation space.

The North District Activity Center focuses on youth art and innovative technology, including facilities such as the International Art Training Centre and the Digital Light Art Theater. It is not only a platform for the display of art and technology, but also an incubator for youth entrepreneurship and innovative thinking.

| Resident Space

The FML Art Residency Space is scheduled to open to the public in 2025. It covers three major creative workshops, including ceramic and jewelry workshops, fiber art and printmaking workshops, and sculpture and installation workshops, providing space and supporting facilities for international artists to create art in residence. There are hotels, restaurants, pubs, cafes and other facilities in the area, which will be built into a cultural and tourism destination with a strong artistic scene.
