As the second classroom sub-unit of the "SOFT Maze" art project, Fiber Media Lab and Hangzhou Museum launched two art workshops. The activities were open to the public and attracted many adults and children to participate.
WORKSHOP | NO.1 Weaving Workshop
Fiber artist Li Ying led people to experience the softness of fiber materials, use fabrics, wool and ropes in different colors to weave, learn weaving, collage and other creative techniques, and complete a unique weave piece. The workshop continues the concept of "soft maze". People can feel the texture of soft materials, and learn to match colors to their woven designs, make art to exist in vision and minds.

WORKSHOP | NO.2 “Drawing a Line” Workshop
As the final event of the "SOFT Maze" art project, Assadour Markarov brought the public an interesting art experience - drawing a line. The workshop was led by Assadour and his graduate students to complete interactive creations. By using lines and colors and free painting, it shows different personalities, aesthetics and understandings of art between people. The table in the space was wrapped in canvas, and participants could freely draw at any position on the table, forming an interweaving and interaction between people through the way of "drawing a line".
